In the technical jargon of the world of decoration, it is known as a “ kitchen cart ”, but we will call it a “support cart” due to the many functions it can have in the most varied rooms! In addition, the following storage aids are needed and justify having one of these carts in your home:
- Tidying up the KITCHEN :
- from the grocery store (teas, coffees, pasta, rice, canned goods, drinks), etc.;
- fruit and vegetables (my favorite suggestion!);
- of drinks (with glasses and straws next to the different bottles) giving rise to the well-known “ bar cart ” or bar cart;
- dishes (ideal for small kitchens);
- cleaning supplies; (to make it easier to transport cleaning products to each room);
- Tidying up the LIVING ROOM :
- replacement for shelving furniture, where you can place books, plants, radio, etc. – you can combine two support trolleys;
- support at the dining table, both when transporting dishes to the table and when serving food (when there isn't enough room on the table!).
- Tidying up the ROOM :
- bedside table replacement – it looks very aesthetically interesting to arrange a lamp, alarm clock, books and blankets on different shelves;
- closet storage support;
- Tidying up the BATHROOM :
- cosmetics (varnishes, creams, shampoos, etc.);
- towels and/or toilet paper;
DECORATION TIP: Trolleys can have an “ effortless chic ” look if you contrast their minimalist lines with the arrangement of beautiful objects: if they are grocery items, for example, choose to place the products inside identical glass packaging; the same reasoning applies to cleaning products – buy attractive packaging (and why not opt for cleaning products sold in bulk, contributing to the reduction of plastic);
Organization and good taste are the watchwords to transform this support cart into one of the most interesting “pieces of furniture” in your home decor!
