This year I set myself a challenge: to decorate a table for Christmas, but also to have lunch or dinner at this same table any 365 days a year. I avoided reindeer, golden tones, and did away with red crockery and Christmas motifs and embraced the dishes I use on a daily basis.
Yes, it is possible to create a Christmas table with the crockery we use every day! It is not necessary to use crockery with Christmas motifs, nor is it necessary to use red and gold, colours intrinsically associated with Christmas, in order to have a Christmas table. After all, what we want from a Christmas table is for it to convey love. And we can give love in many different ways.

If you notice, the wine glasses are not the same size. I placed them on purpose to demonstrate how it is possible to combine different shapes and sizes without taking away from the shine and elegance of the table. I used salad bowls as soup plates, which is a versatile and economical option. The white tablecloth and napkins provide the elegance that is required. The placemats, dinner plates and cutlery complete the table. Check out the VIVA tableware I chose for this Christmas table or for any day of the year below.
